The boys over at ItHz have been working hard over the last few weeks, and i’m pleased to say all the hard work has payed off with this quality free to download E.P. With a mixture of both signed and unsigned artists, this E.P highlights a great range of house tunes from up and coming artists from around the world.
This is a mix that played randomly from my feed, but as soon as it started i couldn’t turn it off. This is a really techy, chilled out mix, starting with a great tune with some German Spoken word over it, its switch into ambient bass tunes is flawless and it continues all the way through to the near the end, where it gets slightly more upbeat, whilst still sticking to its original ambient style that suiting the first 2/3rds of the mix perfectly.
I hope you enjoy it as much as i did!
I recently got sent this, and have only just had a chance to listen to it. Zhan (Oguzhan Guney) are two Amsterdam based DJs/Producers. After a few years of seperate experimentation in several genres, the Dutch duo started cooperating in April 2013 and are now producing Deep House / House. Both willing to become one of Amsterdam’s finest. After a few singles they formed their own style, keeping the deep grooves alive. In July 2013, the duo released their first E.P. called “Abysmal”. It’s a great E.P and for a free download, you can’t go far wrong!
After working so much during August, as I’m sure you’ve noticed updating theTechHouse has severely lacked in updates. No however, work is coming to close so I thought it was around time I updated you on the tunes I’ve been liking over the last month or so. Most of them are fairly new, however there are some old ones stuck in there as well that have only come to attention now.
My special mention certainly has to go to Bakermat – Zomer. Its such a feel good summer tune and i love the windpipes and sax sounds. However there is a good chunk of tunes here so I’m sure you can make your own opinions on which you like best! Also watch out for Woody’s remix of ‘Im ready’
This is a great mix by a duo who go by the name of JBAG, its a great mix, created completely out of their own remixes. It follows a happy, nu disco theme all the way through and has some great kicks and high hats to keep the beat stomping. The vocals are everpresent but not overused as to ruin the seamless link between songs, and the bass when it drops, is always fast paced and really gets you going. These guys production is really on point, and its exciting to see their remix quality.Taking nothing away from the mix however, I would just hope if anything, to have seen more of their own creations. That being said. It makes no difference as this mix is fantastic without
My Recommended tune is definitely – Fancy ‘69 (JBAG remix)’ Read the rest of this entry »

For the second installment of our podcast series we have a double header of live sets taken from our recent night with Get Down Edits and Late Nite Tuff Guy. The two were kind enough to allow us to record live from The Gweedore and they didn’t disappoint in the slightest.
The 2nd part of the poddy comes from none other than Late Nite Tuff Guy. We were beaming from ear to ear when we first heard this recording back. As you’d expect from a man who’s knowledge and experience is so vast, the set was perfectly crafted over the 90 odd minutes and rose to a bouncing crescendo which had everyone forgetting their dignity.
Make some time for this and give it a listen….
